DV says: "Okay, it's been five years or so, I suppose it's time to update the ol' bio. Let me see…where to begin… Well, back in '56, my folks and I were part of this looong wagon train, movin' west - oops, sorry, wrong story. Lemme start over: Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away - oh, wait, that's not it, either. I'll try again: Mama told me, when I was young; come sit beside me, my only son - aargh! Now that's a dang Skynyrd song! Oh never mind. Here's the short version: I'm from Groves, Texas, but I've also lived in Houston, Los Angeles and La Habra, California. I've been playing guitar for a really long time, although I actually started with piano (kind of like my Dawg-brother Ken) but then picked up the guitar and just sort of neglected to put it down. While in California, I got to go to this really cool music school called Musician's Institute - I just wish I could remember everything I leaned (haha). All I'm really looking for now is a tone that I like and maybe couple of good notes per night. It always helps if we can sneak a blues song or two into the set, too <g>. So that's about it, I guess. Any thing else you wanna know?"
